Terms of use
In force since 1 November 2026. The French version prevails in case of doubt.
1. The service
Liturgies is an online application that helps a church prepare its services: order of service, team planning, hymns, readings, service-day mode, PDF, public links and personal calendar. It is operated by [TO COMPLETE: operator's name] ("we").
2. Access
A church gets its space on request. Its manager or managers then invite the members, each with a role (read-only, contributor, editor, manager). An account can only be created from an invitation. You are responsible for your account: keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
3. What the church and its members agree to
- Use Liturgies for the life of the church, not to publish unlawful or offensive content or content infringing the rights of others.
- Enter only the information needed about people in the planning and services, and let those who serve know their name appears there (the church is responsible for this content, see the privacy policy).
- Respect the copyright of texts and songs: Liturgies records titles and hymnal numbers, it does not provide scores or lyrics.
- Not attempt to get around the service's protections or to access another church's data.
4. Your data
The church's content belongs to the church. We use it only to provide the service. At any time, the church can ask us for a copy of its data, then for its deletion (see retention).
5. Availability
We do our best to keep Liturgies available and reliable, and back up the data every night. The service may however be interrupted for maintenance or in case of an incident. For an important service, keep a PDF or the offline copy on a device: it stays readable without a connection.
6. Changes to the service
Liturgies evolves: features are added, others change. If a change removes an important feature or significantly alters these terms, we tell the managers in advance.
7. Price
[TO COMPLETE: free, pilot phase, or price and payment terms]
8. Ending
A church may stop using Liturgies at any time; a member may leave a church from their account menu. We may suspend an account or a space used against these terms, after informing the church except in an emergency.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. We are not responsible for content entered by churches and their members.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction: [TO COMPLETE: e.g. Geneva], subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
